Frequently Asked Questions

How long does my desk take to make?

Every desk is made to order in our Margate workshop, so we don't build until it's yours. Most desks are ready within around one week, and we keep you updated at every stage.

Is it really solid wood?

Yes. Solid European redwood with a 30mm top, finished by hand in hardwax oil. No MDF, no veneer, no chipboard core, just real timber that ages well.

Can I get an exact size?

Your width is yours to choose: 100cm to 300cm in 10cm steps, or an exact width to the centimetre on request, with three depths (60cm, 72.5cm and 80cm). Need something outside that range? Email us before you order.

What does the 25-Year Guarantee cover?

It covers the desk's frame and joinery against structural failure under normal home or office use, for 25 years. Natural timber movement, surface marks and the way solid wood ages are part of the material, not faults. If something structural ever goes wrong, we'll repair or replace it.

How is it delivered?

Delivery is free across mainland UK. A two-person crew brings your desk in and carries it to the room of your choice, and the legs bolt on with the Allen key we supply, so most desks are set up within about ten minutes. You then have 30 days to return it if you change your mind, for any reason.
