Shipping & Delivery
Free delivery, properly done
Every desk is delivered free to mainland UK by a two-person crew, who carry it to the room of your choice, not left on the doorstep.
Lead times
Every desk is built to order in our Margate workshop and is typically ready within one week. We'll keep you posted at every stage: when your desk enters production, when it's finished, and when it's out for delivery, with a delivery day arranged to suit you.
Outside mainland UK
For the Scottish Highlands, islands, and Northern Ireland, contact us at hello@madebygrove.co.uk before ordering so we can confirm arrangements.
On delivery day
Please check your desk on arrival. If there's any visible damage, contact us within 48 hours with photographs at hello@madebygrove.co.uk and we'll repair or replace it free of charge.
Changes and delays
Need to change your delivery date? Give us at least 48 hours' notice. If your order will be later than estimated, we'll contact you with an updated date, and if a delay becomes substantial, you can cancel for a full refund.
Returns & Refunds
Our 30-day promise
If you change your mind, you have 30 days from delivery to return any desk, for any reason, including made-to-measure desks. We'll arrange and pay for collection. We just ask that the desk is in good, undamaged condition.
How to start a return
Email us at hello@madebygrove.co.uk with your order number and we'll arrange a collection date with you. Where possible, please keep the original packaging to protect the desk in transit.
Refunds
Once the desk arrives back with us and has been checked, we'll refund you in full to your original payment method within 14 days.
Faulty or damaged items
If anything arrives faulty or damaged, we'll repair or replace it free of charge. Please inspect your desk on delivery and contact us within 48 hours with photographs so we can put it right quickly. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
Our 25-year guarantee
Every Grove desk is guaranteed for 25 years. If a fault in materials or workmanship develops within that time, we'll repair or replace it. The guarantee covers structural integrity and workmanship; it doesn't cover normal wear, misuse, or damage caused after delivery.
Cancelling before delivery
Need to change or cancel? Contact us as soon as possible at hello@madebygrove.co.uk. If your desk hasn't been dispatched, we'll amend or cancel the order and refund you in full.
