Every Grove desk is made to order from solid European redwood: 30mm thick, machined perfectly flat and finished by hand. Choose your width to the centimetre, pick your depth, choose a finish, and we build it for you. No chipboard, no veneer, no compromise. See what goes into every desk.
Properly finished, not just sealed. We finish every top in hardwax oil, which is durable, water-resistant and repairable, not the soft wax polish you'll find on cheaper desks. It's rustic in character but precise in the surface: the warmth and grain of real timber, with a top that's flat, smooth and built to be worked on every day. Real wood is easier to look after than you'd think: here's how to care for it.
Need a long desk? That's most of what we build. Every desk is made to your exact width, anywhere from a compact 100cm to a full 300cm, with 160cm, 180cm, 200cm, 240cm and 250cm among our most popular. From 200cm wide there's comfortable room for two, making it a genuine two person desk for a shared home office: one solid top, no join down the middle, no wobble where two cheap desks meet. Built for how you work. Three depths, including a generous 80cm most makers don't offer: proper room for a computer desk setup with two monitors, a writing surface that doesn't feel cramped, or a gaming setup with depth to spare. Steel legs in A-frame, square or trapezium, in black or raw steel, give it a clean, industrial edge that suits modern and rustic rooms alike. It fits your room, your alcove, your setup. Not the other way round.
Delivered and built in minutes. A two-person crew brings it to your room of choice in two boxes. The legs bolt on with the Allen key we supply. Secure, re-tightenable, and no pre-drilled screws to work loose. Most desks are on and in use in around five minutes.

Nice solid desk and good service
I bought the Rustic Solid Wood Home Office Desk in Rustic Oak from Grove and I’m really happy with it! The quality is great and it looks fantastic in my home office. I love that you can choose the exact size you need - it made it easy to get the perfect fit.
They also sent out colour samples before I ordered, which was super helpful. The support team were quick to reply to my emails, and although delivery took a bit longer than expected, they did let me know what was going on once I asked for an update.
The two delivery guys were great and even carried the desk upstairs for me. It was easy to assemble and feels really solid. Overall, I’m very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Grove if you’re after a quality, custom-made desk.
I just need to finish getting my office built now :)

Stunning desk! The build quality and finish is excellent.
I live in a remote part of Scotland which is outside of the delivery terms but I thought I'd ask the question, and within an hour (on a Sunday) I got a reply from Cam.
The following day it had all been arranged and the desk ordered.
